Let's see 75-78 2 door coupes. Coronet, Fury Sports, 75 Road Runners, Monacos, you know, that body.

Seems like the 75-78 coupes are very overlooked. I'm talking about the Fury/Coronet body not the Córdoba/Charger/Magnum body.

Let's see some!

Don't forget the '76-77 Charger Sport, which used the Fury styling instead of looking like the Cordoba...

They're not overlooked, its not their turn, yet. The '71-'74 B-bodies are now the next best thing. They are just like the 4th generation Novas and GM G-bodies. Makes little sense to take on something that is hard to get parts for. Of course, if the '75 - '78 B-bodies do become sought after, the price for a running, driving, car will begin to command a ridiculously high price.
But, let's remember, this is what we were being sold back then:

1977 Dodge Charger Daytona

It shared it's name with this:

1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

In this case, the nut really fell far from the tree.

But, hey, build what you like and enjoy.

Somebody must have a 75-78 2 door B Body that they cherish.
I have a 75 Road Runner 400 4 barrel that I bought almost 30 years ago. It's in line to restore. Sure wish quarter panels were available!
I personally think these are great looking cars. Clean lines, nice interiors and drive well.

Thanks. I have parts. I was really hoping to see other members post pictures of their 75-78 coupes. Apparently these cars really are under appreciated. I can't be the only one here that likes them.

Every generation of "desirable" car has to wait its turn. Second gen Camaros took a while, now third and fourth gen are having a go, because they are relatively inexpensive. Fourth gen Novas are now becoming popular. Some never becpme desirable. GM A-bodies from '73 on will never get there. Your generation of B-body has to wait at least until the '71 - '74s have had their turn, which seems to be now. Plymouth made about 180,000 of these things, and popularity drives resto parts, so maybe someday it'll be their turn.

View attachment 601414 Here is one I found on Google. Like the Cragars.

Hey, I know that car. LOL. This picture was taken in Evansville IN on the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2007. We went to a car show today in Palestine IL. Right at 200 miles round trip. It did the old girl good to be on the road today.

This car is going to be at Carlisle this year in building T for the Road Runner display.

Why no love for the Cordobas? I have a 78 Crown Couple 360 4bbl car I am working on. Will have a EQ heads and A500 od auto. No pretty pics at this point, but this link shows the direction I am going for the exterior- minus the wheels. Stay tuned long enough for the after.

Understanding the trend of the day, from performance to personal luxury, these cars are an inexpensive way to get involved in the hobby, as the same tricks on 340 & 383 engines can be applied to 360 & 400 engines. After all, they're b bodies. Styling is subjective, but comparing apples to apples, Mopar was at the forefront. Just look at the ugly bumpers on the Ford's of the day, hideous, then and now.

It seems to me that the Cordoba was designed around its original 7" round headlights and looks best that way. Forcing the styling to accept the flavor of the week rectangular headlamps in the 70's doesn't really work for me. That being said, I still very much like the 1979 300 model.

Yeah, I have to disagree on the styling forefront comment.

By 78/79, gm and fomoco had downsized and switched to squared off styling on the competitive body styles- monte carlo and thunderbird.

It took Mopar until '81 to do that with the Mirada.

However, I like the quad square headlight treatment on late B body cars (and vans and trucks)

Love that decal!

You could get a 360-4 and a 400-4 in those 75 RRs.

Contrary to popular opinion both those engines performed very well.
