After marriages and kids all grown up, I went and got another one. This is originally a California 383 automatic car that now has a 69 440 Magnum under the hood.

Now for the fun part. Look at the license plate of the 1974 photo and the latest car.

That is freakin awesome!!! I just love your '66 man. A car you never see anywhere anymore. The liscence plate is extra cool!

Here's my '66 Charger. I bought the car back in 2003. In 2006, about 5 month before I got married and bought a house, I decided to sell it so I could come up with some money. I sold it to a man in Connecticut. He sold it to someone in New York and then that dude sold it to another guy in New York. In Nov '09 I was home from work sick that day. I was looking around on craigslist and found my old car up for sale! I contacted the seller and we worked out a deal. In Dec '09 I bought back my old car. I'm gonna keep it this time. Out of all of the cars I have ever had, this is my wife's favorite. My little girl loves it too.

Thanks for sharing guys.

Wow! I'm quite inspired. It's official..this is my favorate car that exists on the face of the planet Earth.

I've had this one since Jan. of 1990, I was 18. 383 4bbl, 4 speed car. If I were to sell it I would be single, and my kids would never speak to me again.

Dirtbag, love the '66 man.

Topher, I remember you from the 66-67Charger forum that disapeared for a while. I was gonna hook a toggle switch up to my head light motors and you sent me a schemadic and a service manual for free! Thanks again for that! I appreciatte a guy that cares about his fellow enthusiasts.

Showing my 67 Charger

This 1967 Charger was imported from California in 2004. Engine is a 383 4bbl auto. It has PB and PS.
This winter I'm restoring the body, fixing some minor rust, new seat covers and carpets, all weatherstripping and seals, and color will be restored to factory original, RR1, pale yellow. The electrical system will be upgraded with hidden relays etc, will keep original look as far as possible. Just yesterday I received the R2 option Astrophonic radio, still some original bits and piececs missing, but I'm getting there.
Previous owner restored the engine and added some performance parts, but the engine is currently not showing its full potential, but good enough for summer crusing in 2011. Winter 2011 I will focus on the engine, and make sure it's running efficiently.
Cheers,
Martin, Norrland, Sweden

You have NO idea how lucky you are. Earlier in this thread I posted pictures of my first 66 Charger. I owned it in the early 70s. It was still in pretty good shape but had issues so I was restoring it. Everything was done except the front driver's seat. It was just like a new car inside and out except for the seat. Then I had to sell it. The USAF was sending me overseas and at my rank they would not ship it and I had no place to store it. I came back a couple years later and saw my old car. Broken down on the side of the road and looking like it was 40 years old and beat to death. When I had it, it would do a 13.1 quarter mile. When I saw it that day, I fixed it to get it running for the guy and he couldn't even keep up with my 318 Coronet. I'm sure she is dead today and it is very sad after all the money, care and love I put into her.

Lots of AWSOME cars here.I have some in the HEMI-ITIS archives.Lemmie do some diggin':idea1:
