steve
my dad bought this car a year and a half ago and i have done all the body work, and mechanical work. we pulled the 318 and found an old RV with a 440 that had been sitting for years and failed a compression test. we said what the heck and got it for 400 bucks. the rings were siezed from the years of sitting so we bored it and rebuilt it. meachinist said it had no more than 20K miles witch was a shocker haha.
and here is how it sits now(well it has a hood on now but who cares)
thanks!
Here is my Coronet. We are waiting in line getting into Moparfest. It is held in New Hamburg Ontario every August. Unfortunately it is the same weekend as the Dream Cruise in Detroit which I would rather go to if they are the same date. Notice where the 383 call-0ut is. I have seen factory photos that show it here but most cars have the Corornet 500 here but Early, late productionn year?
I think they are boxy but cool looking. Satelites and GTX's have the same look I likeNice Coro'. I love the '66, and '67 Coronets. There are some cars out there that just look fast. To me those years for the Coronet accomplished that. Surprising since they're so boxy and rectangular. That last sentence isn't derogatory by the way, I love that look, for whatever reason. Long live MoPar!
