Second owner, purchased in 1971. 72k actual miles. 440 matching numbers engine and transmission. Dana 456 posi rear end.

Question about 69 Coronet 500's...would they all have had that trim that runs along the fender-door-quarter panel?

I'm restoring one, and of the parts that didn't come with it are those pieces, but I do see body filler covering holes through the bottom inside of the door where that trim would have hung.

I'm planning on it, but probably not with the Coronet. I won't have the dash done on time and with only the water temp gauge working, I'm not risking it. Don't even have a working speedo. But I will be there, need to hit up the swap meet...

Test fitting some steel rims I found, trying to decide if I should find two more and run them with a set of dog dish hub caps, or just put a set of slicks on these just for the track...
