Let's see those side projects...

My neighbors built the fences :D They both have pools and city says they have to be fence. Until the tornado, I was the only one with a back yard that's open into the back 40. Very large easement back there too that allows me access into the back. Been trying to do some some maintenance but seems like every time I put in something new, it craps out. The latest is a ceiling fan. Didn't get an hour of run time on it. Damn China crap. Wasted time on my Yard Cart when the fuel pump went out. It's easier to pull the bed off than to drop the tank. I test run it for a bit with the bed off but as soon as I put the bed on, it crapped out. Replaced that new China crap with another and left the bed off for 3 weeks this time. Terrible ride too. Bed is on and so far so good. This year all I've done is maintenance to the aging house and cars....and been sick.

69BENGAL R/T...... Looks like party central, I like the pirate ship look that's pretty cool!

Bb70charger500..... Love the furniture, always liked the antique look! Great job.

Badvert67...... So what kind of output are you expecting? Looks super clean.

Keep em coming guys.
Dev, i thought of You as soon as i saw Bb70's furniture.....

One thing I always notice is the lack of progress on our builds do to side jobs or the dreaded honey do list so why not show em. I think it would be interesting to see some of the work outside of our cars, lots of talent around here.

I'm calling my car done so I'm not necessarily being held up but here's a couple little projects I'm either doing or did lately.

Our house has an overhang that kept this area dry and dusty so the wife wanted something done to make it usable. I went ahead and plumbed propane under the pad for the fire ring in the table...... kids love Smores!

The other is my Ferguson, rebuilt it a few years ago but am finally finishing the hood and making fenders for it. The previous owner had torched holes threw the hood, dropped a tree on it and misplaced the grill so quite a bit of work.

Um, Dev....that would be Honey DUES.....no?
Your place looks Killer Man...i remember the patio work from when You started it...love the house, Wood Man.
im finishing up refinishing a Stratocaster body @ moment...believe its Alder.......natural finish....started in 40 grit blocking off old finish...clear, blue, white, then a heavy base of clear below that. in 1000 right now....@ 500, i started sanding with light amounts of linseed oil & red rouge....the rouge is wax, plus the red gives some stain....will take it to 2500....then will buff with wheel and Red Rouge. Only about the 5th wood finishing job ive done...just a hipshot from the metal polishing.....lack of better phrasing, i call it French Polish.

Thanks Blade, my wife and I built it about 12 years ago using sandstone we collected from the woods and fresh lumber from the mill.

Some long overdue tree trimming and rebuilding of a fence. I waited until the A-Holes next door moved out....didn't want to benefit them in any shape or form. now that we have new neighbours (very nice people) I got 'er done. Took a weekend to demo the trees - approx 1.5 tonnes of tree shreddings. And a mere 18 minutes to demo the fence including loading it into the skip next door. The lady next door and offered me food, help, gave me some Chinese Tea, and offered to pay half of the fence.
More work to do on the fencing either side, but the main job is done for now - it's Winter now, so will be painting towards September (Spring) and do some more planting. I have some retaining wall work to do where the trees came out of, and re-planting a more controllable hedge line, and space it a little better in relation to the fence.
The first pic from across the street was taken a few days after Christmas 2014.

Looks beautiful, as much as I hate those kinda jobs you always feel good about them when done. Nice work.

I was getting the runner done, then my painter got COPD, then my Uncle passed suddenly and left me his Cummis W250. I've put the car on hold to take care of his truck.

When i get my android back up, i'll take some pix and send them to You....just worked it a little with 1500...good semi gloss coming...i broke some of the veneer, but i like it because gives a little burned look and the grain really jumps in those areas. Actually been thinking of You during the process...first posts of Yours i ever saw were the Sweet Dash Trim and Console You did for Charger...been a Fan ever since Bud......Have a Wonderful Sunday....grab a guitar...great therapy. Speaking of Natural....Taylor makes a 3/4 size accoustic...bolt on neck via counter sunk Machine thread bolts through fingerboard. Natural finish....louder than their full sized boxes with finishes. Natural is the very best tone for either accoustic or solid bodies.
Hey, did You catch the Youtube links i posted a while back for some jamb videos i have on the tube?

Tried to but didn't have good enough service, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. I'll have to try it at home but usually if I'm home I'm not sitting around.

One thing is for sure....ya gotta have something to break-up the insanity, if you're eaten-up with this hobby. I need[ed] several.

I just finished a two year rebuild of my Deck. It is six levels, that I built 26yrs ago , With all the visible wood of CEDAR !!.. Thought it would last me a lifetime... Wrong.... It's on the North side of the house, so not enough sun, and it started rotting through a few years ago. All the substructure was out of 2x12 joists and beams and 6x6 posts, pressure treated lumber. So all of that was in great shape. Wanted to use composite board this time, but found out that I would have to re joist or add joists since I was only on 16in centers. So... I got some young guys that hang in my shop to come over and tear up all the cedar decking and cedar rail system one deck at a time. Decided to use #1 pressure treated as decking and a Vinyl rail system. Don't want to do it again. Hopefully it outlasts me. OH ... I like Guns Too !!
