Thinking about joining the club....i had a Browning 308 bolt w/ Weaver & a an 11 shot Browning semi-auto stock loader 22 LR(barrel break away from magazine) when i was a kid, sold them @ 17. They be worth some sheckles now im sure...both beautifully tooled. Just not enthused by weapons, ill hunt to eat, but not for sport...i AM a hippie.....but society is teetering at edge of insanity.....so neccessity is taking precedence....like Bill Burr sez...what the hell good is a nuclear garden & rations going to do if You cant fight.......and given the choice between anarchy or slavery.....theres a no brainer.Ahhhhhh, me love guns. Got my Sig on me as we speak![]()

Beautiful!!!! Love the house too.I just finished a two year rebuild of my Deck. It is six levels, that I built 26yrs ago , With all the visible wood of CEDAR !!.. Thought it would last me a lifetime... Wrong.... It's on the North side of the house, so not enough sun, and it started rotting through a few years ago. All the substructure was out of 2x12 joists and beams and 6x6 posts, pressure treated lumber. So all of that was in great shape. Wanted to use composite board this time, but found out that I would have to re joist or add joists since I was only on 16in centers. So... I got some young guys that hang in my shop to come over and tear up all the cedar decking and cedar rail system one deck at a time. Decided to use #1 pressure treated as decking and a Vinyl rail system. Don't want to do it again. Hopefully it outlasts me. OH ... I like Guns Too !!View attachment 344627 View attachment 344628 View attachment 344629 View attachment 344630 View attachment 344631

Just when I thought I had enough to do the machine shop called and said my dads motor for his truck was done (cleaned, bored and the heads completely reworked). Since all the boxes were taking up space I went ahead and started yet another job, I'm to the part where you spend hours at the parts cleaner.... fun stuff haha. Going to bump the output up a touch with a healthier RV cam, QF 4 barrel and headers..
I think those are scary looking and they need to be taken away from you.

The older guy is Sean Pertwee, who played the lead role in the movie Dog Soldiers
Not high end at all, QF makes a cheap ($400) 580 cfm, vacuum sec. I just really like the QF quality and after finding out how cheap they were I though why not, it's a 2 barrel now. I'd be happy with a Holley or Demon but for the price you can't beat it.Looks great. If it's mild and I don't know what vehicle....I would suggest a basic aftermarket carb. I'm guessing the engine won't benefit much from a high-end carb.
Here's one of the home projects that I don on my house to make a nice even grade walkway from the driveway to the front porch.
Started by pouring the concrete edges formed in plywood . . . you can even see all the piping that was put in place to help drain the down spouts and drain the water from the foundation . . .

Added some rebar in the forms to help keep them from moving on me later . . .

After getting both sides done, it was filled with rock screenings and compacted . . .

Then came the fun of working the pattern into the multiple turns in the walkway . . .
View attachment 344758
Working it back - one section at a time . . .
View attachment 344759
Then started the cutting of the pieces to fill in the gap area . . . like a jigsaw puzzle . . .

Until you get all the pieces filled in . . . and you have a completed walkway . . .

It's a lot of work but I love real hardwood for a floor, turned out great!Awhile back I installed and finished the red oak wood floors and stairs throughout my house. Just a couple pics it was over 2k square feet total of red oak flooring I installed 3" to 5" wide planks depending on the room size.View attachment 344767View attachment 344768
Nice work. Had to take a second glance at your home, the colors match so well that at a glance it almost looks like a shake sided home. Very nice.very nice! did a little interlocking myself...of coarse on the hottest weekend so far!
