This is very similar to the 1964 Ford Galaxie Wagon my Brother and I grew up with and learned to drive on. 6 Banger with 3 on the tree. I used to beat the "S**T" out of it as well as power shifting it. Pop had trouble figuring out why it needed a motor re-build that smoked like a chimney. Only difference in this pic and ours is the color was a dark blue. But bone stock it was. It was called Guardsman blue. The wagon was on e-bay about a year or so ago.

I had one of these for a while, then pulled the drivetrain out of it.

Wish I had it now...everything worked...it was badass...$125 in 1995.

my first car that I actually put together using remains of a wrecked family sedan was a 1959 nine passenger Suburban..transferrred the engine and tranny as the lady who drove the wagon did not know what part water played in keeping one cool..drove that sucker my last year of high school. Paid a whopping 40.00 for the wagon...would buy a dozen at that price today... Would be something to still own that beast..but...life goes on..

My brother is working on an Edsel wagon for a customer. All original interior and I believe the paint too. Dropping in a V8, dual exhaust and at least front disk brakes. I'll try get a picture soon. But how about these REO's that are in my town this week.
