Another memory issue thing - my 67 GTX light switch has a single electrical spade connection riveted on top of the switch housing. Manual seems to show a brown wire to it running from the middle plug of the bulkhead connections. I can't find a brown wire anywhere back in there. I finally hooked the battery up and all the light functions seem to work OK with just the single, multi-wire plug hooked up.
I don't remember if anything was hooked up there before or not as I was reaching back behind the panel and pulling plugs loose blindly. I have a factory air conditioned car which is part of the problem as access from under the dash is virtually nil.
Is that just an un-used ground connection? Maybe a replacement switch with extra ground?
