Llama Parebellum 9mm won't chamber hollow points but does fine with

No expert here - but I know what I like, and that usually involves Walther (PPQ M1 and PPS2)
and Sig (P365 and P320) in 9mm. Both will eat anything you feed them (I like Federal "Law Enforcement"
HST in 147gr for full-time loads and Blazer Brass roundnose for plinking).
Shotguns are the American standards - Mossy 500 and Remington 870. Slugs are fun!
Several long guns too, of course - a favorite is my left-handed AR.

I've run into that with a number of 'older' 9mm pistols. They weren't worn out, just didn't like hollow point ammo. I always attributed it to design.

Had a Glock .45 but sold it when my divorce got under way and sold several others like a S&W .44 wheel gun that I liked a lot.....live and learn.
Aluminum or steel frame? Aluminum frame gets beat up and needs a steel feedramp insert. Most manufacturers have a ramped barrel for this reason. Throat of the barrel matters too. I've opened up a Sig P6 ramp to work with hollowpoints.
SS frame.....decided not to get it. Didn't realize Llama closed their doors as I never really paid much attention to them. Looks like parts are not readily available for them so that's another down side to it plus never really cared for the 9mm round. Would probably have to empty the magazine if it needed to be used on some drug crazed moron.

And thanks for the replies!!
