All right;let's keep this thread alive! Some pics from the 39th Annual Sloan Auto Fair. Not a lot of Mopar stuff,but what was there was high quality. Let's take a look...

A couple of non-Mopars,but WAY cool anyway. The one does have ties to us,in a roundabout way;you'll appreciate it.

First;OK,it's a Ford(I think...),but,it's got a Hemi.

Next...this is a real-deal Ronnie Sox 1963 Chevrolet Z-11 Chevrolet Impala. This is the car Ronnie ran before teaming up with Buddy Martin. The owner told me that Ronnie verified the car during the restoration process. Stunning machine.

The owner does S/S and A/FX reunions;great guy to chat with-and I did!

Oops;looks like I'll need to get a better face shot tomorrow for visual identification. Couldn't have been one of us;no troublemakers here. Probably from some Chevy site...

Oh;I got better shots of the "suspect-in-question" from the back of the '61 Dodge police car. Still don't recognize the guy...anyone?

OK;it's a more-door. Probably one of the cleanest original cars I've ever seen. Inside and out. Big back seat. You could really...stretch out back there. Yeah;that's it.

I'd say the Black antique is a Baker Electric.

Risbee;you're very close. It's a Detroit Electric,circa 1922. Were they also known as "Baker"s? Weren't many electric vehicle manufacturers back then.

Oh well, I tried. No, Bakers actually hit their prime and then Detroit Electrics outsold them. Baker merged with another company in the mid teens but I don't recall the name. I think that company built mostly electric trucks. I spent many years fooling around with antiques and ran into a few electrics. I love mopars but I still enjoy and appreciate the antiques

Some beautiful cars there and the spot looks ideal for a show. Most of the darn shows I seem to go to are out on the hot pavement all the time...
