I recently picked up a 69 383HP longblock; fairly complete except for intake & exhaust manifolds and valve covers. It is out of a Charger, but cast 4 weeks before the SBD of my RoadRunner so I figured I'd grab it.
I plan on just leaving it together and stash it away for future use, any thoughts? I was thinking I'd loosen the rockers to close the valves, maybe pull the plugs and lube the cylinders that way. Any pther tips??

Oil in the cylinders, turn it over once a month. That's about all you can do.

I had my car not running for 12 yrs after I rebuilt it but knew the cylinder walls were well lubed and like mopar367 said turned it over once a month. When it came time to start she finally fired up with a little gas in the carb. and oiled her up good through the distributor with the oil pump real good.
