The problem with ethonal gas is that it cleans out the build up of deposits that is left behind from years of using non ethonal gas. If you store your vehicle with a less than full tank of gas you get rust on the walls and when you fill it up it starts to clean it off. We have the same problem with antique tractors that do not get used a lot. Our solution has been to clean the tank extremely well and use a tank sealer on the inside. Has been working for many years.

The guy I bought my Road Runner from (who had $250,000 in B Bodys in his garage) claimed that StaBil360 solved most of his ethanol issues. It could be snake oil, but I continued to use it (about 3, or 4 ounces per fill up).
