Looking for usda prime beef (in germany)

calling the Meat Man @MarPar

Thanks Buds. Unfortunately, I do not have any contacts over in Deutschland.

I will say @Michael_ that Creekstone and Greater Omaha usually pack upper 2/3rds choice. So that will be close to prime, but I know, it's not prime. lol

Get used to the prices being outrageous. Not just overseas, but domestically as well. It's going to be like this till at least the end of the year. Not only are my restaurants dying on the vine because of the scamdemic, but now they have to deal with input prices that are double+ what they are used to. Sad.

Without wanting to start a fight, but New Zealand breeds some of the finest beef cattle in the world. Grass fed, and live outside all year round....it is said we breed better Waygu beef than the Japanese. :)

Sorry, but international postal regulations forbid me from posting you some choice cuts.

Just to give you guys an update.
Costco france offers USDA Prime Beef. Tenderloin is 66,85$/35oz
So a 10,5oz steak is about 20 bucks which would be a real bargain in germany. (Considering the quality)

My only problem is due to covid i can't legally visit france right now.
They are also 500 miles away.
So i guess my best bet is to find a curier. Hopefully i can find one...

Seen $19 for 16oz. Hope you like your tenderlion rare or medium rare. If you cook it anymore than medium the cow died in vain. MO.

Take a trip to Weisbaden they have a large PX. Find one of the local military wives in the local US fast food chains with her kids and maybe husband, they should be easy to spot. See if they would be willing to buy what you want. Be prepared to buy quite a bit to make it worth everyone's while. I did this when I was living in Moscow and on vacation in Germany. Don't forget the other USA stuff that is hard to get in Europe, mainly snack stuff, frozen waffles, nuts, chips, peanut butter, salsa etc.
