Sorry to hear about your rotty. It's always hard to lose a member of the family which they become.

my rott of 13 1/2 years passed in my arms today , she had a stomach tumer for six months .She did very good uptill today, she was my second rott and I must say they are very loving dogs,I know they have a bad rep but if you treat them as family they will love and take care of you.We all know its part of the deal when you have a dog that one day they will be gone, but it still is not an easy task.life goes on and I know she will be waiting for me when its my turn.
Sorry for your loss,I just put my Australian Shepherd/Pointer down last Monday and Roux had a stomach tumor as well...He was 14 1/2 years old.
I know what you are going thru...When the tImes right I am getting another dog.

Sorry to hear about it, alsant. I know how tough that is. Take some comfort in knowing how good of a life you provided for her.

Alsant, I'm really sorry. I wasn't really a dog person until I got my mutt 6 years ago. Can't imagine not having her around, so I know it must've been rough. As 64Bel said, it does help to remember how great of a life you gave her.

I want to thank all of you for your concern and comforting words in this rough time for us.we have been threw this before but it still is not an easy task.Thank to all of you ,Greg

I'm sorry for your loss. I had mine only 8 years and he died of cancer. it's so hard when you lose a pet. there are just like family member.

sorry to hear about your loss.Lots of people think rotts are big and mean but they are one of the most loyal and loving breed of dogs.My stepson has one and he is one of the biggest baby you could know. When it is our time to go i believe we will be reunited with all our pets we had in the past.

roadrunner I have had two of them in the last 20 something years and they were both amazing, razed both of my daughters with them and they took care of them like they were there own , you are right it was like having a big protective teddy bear.

loss

So sorry for your loss, they are family. I know how you feel, dog lover myself.

I'm really sorry to hear you lost your best friend. The plus is that you gave her a loving home and you had her for over 13 years. I had Two Rotty's a German that weighed 155# and an American. I lost one at 7 and the other at 9 and I thought losing them would kill me so I know what you're going through, Time will make it a little easier but you will never forget her.

Good luck!
