Yesterday I made a post about how I can get Galen to respond to the information on my 69 charger. Today I received a private message from one of the members. I have looked for the post everywhere and in my profile under Duda and it's like I never posted the dad, where did it go?

Galen Govier & GTS/Galens Tag Service @ www.galengovier.com/ , was pretty bad about getting back to allot of people for a while there & IIRC "I think he even stopped doing requests for searches & information", because of a huge backlog & negative posting &/or comments about him or something along those lines, it's been awhile now...

I thought no matter what topic you posted under they all show up in new and today's post. Is there another company that is well represented as the Galen name for mopars. I did talk with the lady at Galen twice but haver never received any thing back, she even returned my phone call once. Thanks for help and input.

It typically takes Galen around a year or so to respond, and given his recent comments about a backlog of work, I suggest that might be even longer now.

Well I wanted documentation of my car you know like, there was x amount of 69 charger rt
X amount with my color
X amount with my options
And so forth ending with my car is 1 of ???
It seems to me with out this info I will have to deal with all the idiots around me who will say what ever they can to be negative about the car. It only has 37000 miles and has not been on the road since 1980 and I am doing a total restore on her. Actually I am using all the original parts on the car as it really just needed detailed and some fresh paint, oh and the undercoating removed. The car has everything from the factory on it except the radio and wheels. What does everyone else on this site do for documentation. Thanks for your input.

Diane at Galens took my order for de-coding etc on Sept 4th. She said they were a couple months out at that time. I have not attempted to get an update since that time.

I gave mine in January, I am going to have to be put on Medes preety soon between waiting on them and the body shop It's a standoff for first place in being the slowest

Galen went to Moparts to clean a toilet & got flushed down that toilet 2 years ago That's what made him stop for a while You wouldn't believe the number of people who joined just to ask where their $$$ or info was some from the mid 90's
He works at a Muscle car dealership now his info is good but his wave of the thumb sounds questionable these days as it is actually a auction thing anymore & he's no longer separate from sales

I bet his books that you can still buy has what you want to know & you can get them quicker than anything from ebay instead of him
I bought his Truck codes book & it had some production #'s but not many as there aren't many records on the trucks
