Hi all, does this bushing need to be replaced? If so, what is it called and where can I get one?

That looks like a sway bar end link mount to me. It is worn egg shaped and I would weld it up and redrill to repair.

It's some type of thin material(ss?) Probably to keep a smooth edge against the rubber. I would put it together without worry.

Thanks for the replies. It’s the mount for the sway bar. I can’t find anything for replacement. Classic Industries sells a replacement mount but it appears, form the image, that it doesn’t have the bushing/grommet/eyelet - or whatever it’s called. I’ve searched the interweb for what feels like hours and can’t find anything close.

It's probably there to give a rounded edge to the hole.
Do you have an Ace? Mine has all kinds of specialty stuff like bushings you could adapt..
I was just there yesterday for some grade 9 washers. I hate buying hardware because I've got so much already

Time to smooth it out with a file and crocus

My guess is that "grommet/eyelet" is a small flat washer that was installed to better support the rubber isolator, due to the elongation of the hole. I will repeat-weld up the hole and redrill.
