Torsion Bar Adjustment Bolts Question (69 Charger)

You can find most of what you need at PST who also provides a discount to forum members.

Replacing the lower bushing is somewhat difficult. A shop press helps. I would do a search for tips on the process. Not sure if the OE LCAs are reproduced.

Yes, you can get a pair of LCA bushings from anywhere including your local auto parts store. This happened to my Charger last year and had to replace them, PITA job. I would recommend poly bushings as they last longer.
I put some TRW rubber bushing in my Charger around 1990 and they were still pretty good a couple years ago with over 40,000 miles when I did a front end rebuild/upgrade.
Probably depends on the rubber itself.

I would have to respectfully disagree on the poly bushings for the LCA bushing specifically. That bushing is exposed to twisting as well as rotation and poly bushings don’t tolerate that well at all. Do some searches on them on the forum and read up on it.

Man this sucks. I literally just got everything back together last weekend. Should have dove deeper in the lowers and torsion bars while I had everything apart.

Unfortunately, after James left PST, I have heard they are not giving the 10% discounts out anymore. Hopefully they have changed their tune on that, maybe someone on here has bought from them recently and can confirm.

I think they are part of "Kanter" now.
Don't know if you buy from them what their pricing structure is.
