Hello.
Have anyone lunati voodoo 276/284 10230704LUN camcard.

I should check timing. I have only 320nm @ 6000rpm and 300hp@ 6500rpm (engine power). Sounds low? 200nm@4000rpm.
I have 383 comp 9,8:1 , edelbrock e-street, edelbrock rpm airgap, edelbrock 750vac, flowtech headers.

I’d be expecting 400hp+(Corrected STP) out of that combo……..at the crank, as measured on the engine dyno.

A customers had a well worn 67 VIP 4dr 383 2bbl,
Put on estreets, 284xe comp, same intake headers etc and ran 14.50s .. definitely more power than yours.. something is way out of whack. Could it be dyno settings?

The conversion from nM to ft/lb is .7376

320nM @6000 = 236ft/lb
236ftlb @6000 = 270hp

300hp @6500 = 242ft/lb, which is 328nM

It really makes no sense that the torque curve would still be climbing after 6000rpm.

I guess I’d need to see the sheets to offer any insight.

Sorry. I mean wheeldyno, but engine Power was 300hp,not on wheels.

On the chassis dyno, “Engine power” is estimated from the wheel dyno numbers.

I have seen enough wheel dyno numbers that don’t really make any sense that I don’t have much faith in them as being “accurate”.

Imo, the best use of the chassis dyno is dialing in the timing and a/f ratios…….get it as good as you can, then the number just is what it is.

Centerline was 106.5. but where IS Power?? 200nm@4000rpm and tires are like new ones.Edelbrock 750vac dont Works fine? I think i try next 650dp holley
