Picked up a project 70 RR that was already apart and have some questions on where some of the wires in the new harness go. Drivers side kick panel area has 2 sets of wires with a eyelet on each pair with 2 green and 2 blue with a white tracer. Also pair that goes though the firewall near the big block that feeds the engine bay blue with a yellow tracer and red with a black tracer. Where does the wire from the reverse light get hooked to.

Can we get some pics? 70 owner here and easier for me to see your issue with pics

Emergency brake line more than likely. I'd get a diagram. They are pretty cheap.

E brake is a single wire ,I am guessing this same harness is also made for for a 70 charger so those wires are maybe for a relay for the headlight door actuators?

M&H harness will be for all 70 cars meaning extra wires. The 2 blue on driver side would be for 70 charger headlights. Buy a wiring diagram for you car, will be worth its weight in gold down the road.

Thinking about it.....for the price you pay for the M&H harness, you would think a diagram would come supplied - including the variations on the same harnesses.

Just saying......my 5 cents worth.

This is for a 70 Charger. Pretty handy.

Just get a wiring diagram for your car. Factory Service Manual is better than the laminated ones. I have both, FSM in my opinion is better. You will use it down the road for many other things besides wiring.

The FSM wiring diagram is the best one. No matter what you use you will find a few color coding differences between original wiring, original wiring diagram, reproduction wire harnesses, and reproduction wire harness diagrams. It’s inevitable.

Mark every piece of the old harness as you remove it to go by. And check the arrangement of wire connections in every single, multi-wire male and female plug to be sure it matches the original. It is not unusual to get a plug with the wires reversed and you wonder why your gas gage operates backwards or the fan switch low operates as high.

Not bad advice to check and compare. Having said that, have done 3 cars with new M&H wiring harnesses without issue. For whatever reason, I never checked any of it, my wiring was so hacked.
