I am building a Magnum 360 to put in my 65 Dodge Coronet 440. I am being told that the oil pan is different on the Magnum block than it was on the LA block. Does anyone know HOW it was/is different? I need a center sump to fit the K frame/steering link configuration on the Coronet. I have not been able to find such a pan yet. I can only find rear sump pans for the Magnum 360 block. Any advice? If I have to custom make 1 pan from 2 originals, any advice on how to do it and or a source that routinely does this sort of thing?

Thanks

I have a Kevko Racing M302 pan on my 360 408 stroker. Dropped into my 66 Belvedere fine. Did have to use their oil pump pickup tube due to some clearance issues. Pan has a built in crank scraper and is baffled.

A stock 360 pan for a car will work just fine. I JUST did this 3 days ago.
You of course need a car oil pick up for the oil sumps location. The truck pick up will not work.
