matching numbers help

im looking at a 69 RR supposed to be matching #'s how do i verify this.

No build sheet,fender tag only

Vin should be stamped on the block at the passenger side bottom kind of under the motor mount, right above the oil pan on a small machined pad. Another one similar to that for the trans..
