Matching Numbers Question

Okay so I have Block casting # and the Transmission # for the 67 GTX.

Is the only way to tell if they are matching to the car from the Broadcast Sheet? Or is there another way?

I believe on the Challengers it was easier. I don't remember.

I just read where before 1968 those numbers did not match the VIN.
