SOLD Max Wedge 426 Complete Engine

I am selling a 426 Max Wedge engine
It only has 3,000 miles on it and never raced, just driven to car shows
This is a 440 forged crank block with Keith Black 9:75 pistons so you can run pump gas in it
The top end is all OEM Max Wedge top end, also the heads have hardened seats and ported
It has been on the engine stand for a long time now, so I am sure the carbs would need to be freshened?....Maybe...The carbs are Carter AFB's and the only numbers I see on them is 0-1862 and 6-2312 and the manifold number is 240276-1

Interested but are you selling a real 426 max wedge block with all the correct max wedge parts or 440 block & internals made to look like a max wed wedge with a set of heads / intake & from what I can see maybe incorrect carbs?

It is not a Max Wedge block it is a 440, but the heads and manifold are Max Wedge, the carbs are not Max Wedge
So it is a 440 with a Max Wedge TOP END

So, did u have to cut the top of the block for valve relief ?

440 Bigger bore no reliefs needed. I would still check depending on cam.

This block has a mild 440 cam in it for driving on the street...not a drag race motor, it was just driven to car shows in a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury, the engine was taken out after only 3,000 miles and a stock 440 put in it and the car was sold now trying to sell the engine

What rockers arms did you use?
Are the heads just gasket matched or fully opened up?
Is the intake ported at all?
