Hang in there. Also, one of my family had chemo and the dizziness caused them to slip and fall in the shower. So if possible have someone around, shower chair etc.. The dizzy feeling isn't as bad with some people so hopefully you'll have none Get well man!

Be strong & positive. In 1989 the doctor gave my mother 6 months. He suggested an experimental chemo. She lived 7 more YEARS. I have had kidney cancer & prostate cancer. Just keep your head up & keep going!

Blade, one other thing, the post chemo drugs have improved so much. Even when my mom was getting treatments, the drugs got so much better. One of my coworkers with breast cancer also agreed that that post chemo is so much better than years ago. STAY POSITIVE!!!

I start chemo on Thursday....trying to get some weight built up...ive been burning lots of calories dealing with the right side pain.

Havent had any offered yet, but They totally on board with me smoking religiously. I had to cut out the oxycodon....opiods just tear me up.

Pain-killers suck. I like my mind as clear as possible.....even if it means enduring some extra pain. Make no mistake, after every major surgery I've had....I had some pain-killers[oxy]. But, I quit taking them asap. You got this, my good man....

Well, it was a mother of a week in endurance. It was like a death flu. Weight went back down, entire body aches, chills, major nausea, constipation, NO appetite, dehydration, delerium, etc. Pounding Ensure nutritional shakes helped me come back around some towards end, & then yesterday wirh third chemo session, along with fluids & cortisone.....just an hour of Gemzar.....my appetite was back. So yesterday i ate moderate bites of solid food, more nutritional shakes & fluids all day long, i got a fair nights rest & feel much better this am, still light in the head but i feel like me.
Sure Glad i made FF-VN on oct 29......i needed that extra charge before embarking on this stage.
We never know what the future holds but one Truth is constant.....We are certain to find out.
