Missing wrench...found

I found a half dozen clecos holding the inner wheelhouse to the outer wheelhouse on my roadrunner.

While back I refered to a baggie of weed one of my guys found during a stop as a "lid". I got the blank look:laughing11:

I guess I'm in the "old" group too:headbang:

I'm a product of the 70's, Class of 77', it was pretty hard "to not know", what a $20 "3 finger Lid of Brown" was, reference to probably how much Mexican, Columbian Brown seedy crap, maybe even others like, purple haze, sativa, Afghany, Ti-Stick, spinach, Green bud, Humbolt, Cali Bud, Hawiian, Maui Wowie, Panamanian Purple, Kona Gold, Squanch, herbs, puff, smoke, toke or tote, attitude enhancer/adjuster, bong stuff, dope, hemp, cannabis, grass, hash, mary-jane, Marijuana, among many others, I'm sure............................, I guess, I'm just old too...

You couldn't have been a heavey smoker, you remember WAY too much:laughing11:BTW,I'm class of '76:happy5:

I was way too much into sports, in my youth, I didn't indulge much, until I was out of sports, then just in social party situations & not all that often at that, but I'm by far, not innocent either, I have a few golf buddies that still do partake in the stinky green bud, I don't see them much any more... But my middle step brother Tim, was a real doper, small time dealer at one time, he got popped for it too, buds, powders & all, a girl died while they were freebasing/smoking crank/meth, she burned to death, he went to Santa Rita prison also, the dumb *** he was....

Nothin like friends who share,, :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen::glasses9::glasses9::happy5:

Be glad they arent airplane mechanics. I cringe everytime a jet flies directly over me waiting on something to fall off.
That’s why most jets have an “engine fell off “ light.

If you ever worked the flight line, you’ll like this one. If you’re the Chief, you probably have a few similar stories.

1987, I’m an airman working depot at Hill AFB. I’m an Egress technician working on an F4 Phantom to de-arm the ejection seat. We are one of the first teams on the jet once they’re flown in because they’re headed inside a massive hanger where 100s of aircraft are, and they’ll be stuck there for a year. Gotta make em safe first. De-arming and removing the Martin Baker ejection seat is a 2 man job. But nobody fucks with us when we’re working the explosives, so we’re by ourselves. One of the perks.

One of the first things is raising the seat as high as it will go on its own, and then you get at it. As we remove the de-armed seat and see the floor clearly for the first time, we see a McDonalds bag, and a Minolta 35mm SLR camera...

MSgt says “I got that...”. :)

Since it’s against regs to have a camera in the cockpit, no pilot that lost it reported it. ;)

$20? Class of 73 here and a "lid" was $6 then

Imagine, bought our Charger 2004. We where going to a TDC trip in 2006 Jefferson City Missouri. About 3 weeks before the trip I found roaches in the back ashtrays. Called someone in Canada Customs. Got advice about cleaning the ashtrays. Months earlier someone was going to a Corvette meet in SD. US border control found a roach confiscated his car, similar to my situation. We went down had a great trip.

CANADIAN LAWS!! DUI FOR NON CANADIAN RESIDENTS!
If you have a DUI or other alcohol driving suspension that exceeds .08%. You will not be able to enter Canada FOR 10 years . People have had to let families carry on to Alaska and the one with the DUI had to fly or take a ship from the USA!
INSULT If you are a Canadian and get a .08, after one year you can carry on. But that sits on your record for ten years. The US lets you in after the one year suspension, which is criminal offence.
