Sorry for the delay. I really don’t know how to use this sight very well yet. How do I post a question to start a discussion on cams, stall converters and gear combinations?

Go to menu then the forum section on the top you will find the section more suitable to your needs ( electric, brakes , suspension etc) click the one you like and you will find a yellow button that said POST NEW TREAD just like you did in the welcome wagon.

The Charger looks good. Not many choose that shade of green.

Maybe I can ask the question here. It’s a bored .40. 509 cam with Edelbrock Torker intake, Summit ceramic headers and 2.5 inch exhaust. Edelbrock 750 carb and the 3000rpm stall is being installed this week. The rear end gears are the 3.23s. I’ve read that the gears are to high for this combo to work out. What will I expect to be the issue with keeping the stock gears. I would like to drive the car on long distances which would be terrible with 4.10 gears

For what i read in another tread he's gonna have issues with that engine , the cam is too aggressive for a week end driver as he want it
Not to mention his exhaust system, or lack thereof, will be an issue for the street.
