Early exit for Madden and the Rays as the Red Sox are though to the ALCS.

That was exciting A's v Tigers game last night and I'm looking forward to tonight's match up of the Cards vs the Pirates.

my poor A's went down to the Tigers in a score fest, hopefully they can finish the job Thursday... series tied up 2-2 all I got to see was a bunch of ESPN highlights... I need them to win, so I can continue my rivalry & talk smack with 99ss he loves his New England/Boston teams, I'm a Calif. & Oakland supporter, in teams/sports only... I actually hate the city of Oakland...

:iamwithstupid: Not the most desirable place, there are some nice areas around & even with in Oakland like Piedmont & Montclair eastern part of the city, the western parts around the 880/17 freeway are/is pretty scummy thou... I'd rather not be exposed to the rest of that area, I'm 100+ mile east of that area now, I use to do allot of Work/Business in the SF & Oakland area, not my favorite place at all, I grew up in that area, other then my Sports Teams, I hate the area anymore...

Excellent pitching by Waino, a couple very very nice plays by Matt Carpenter, two amazing stops by Koz and some sweet postseason hitting by Koz as well. Of course the all or nothing game key HR blast by Deep Freese was sweet sweet post season heroics embodied with a bonus nice HR by Fat Adams too.

Pirates didn't roll over and Marte made a hell of a catch in LF. Great season Pirates fans you have a team to be proud of again and they should be tough again next year.

my Oakland A's are up 2 games to 1, over Detroit Tigers now... yea ha

So, Howd that work out for ya? Hehe! But I have to admit, I dont know if my "tabbys" can go the distance. The bull-pen has been **** lately, forcing the starters to go longer. Miguel is hurting. I see another run for the pennant next year. Same coach. But a re-building due to payroll, and age in '15.

I see another run for the pennant next year. Same coach. But a re-building due to payroll, and age in '15.

Detroit's bull pen/especially the "starting pitching" looks pretty damn good, that is what won the ALDS for them... so far so good 1-1 in ALCS, Oakland had them down 2-1 & the Tigers pitching got them to the Championship series... I really don't follow MLB anymore, or really give a rats a$$ anymore either {NCAA Football is my favorite, no overpaid whinny millionaires YET !!}, but always been a American League fan... OR anyone beating either Boston Red Sox or NY Yankees, is fine with me too... sorry 99ss

no problem.. We're used to going up against the rest of the world...hahahahahahaha

Detroit has great pitching.... Boston had the best offense this year in the AL... it's going to go 7 is my thought.
We were horrible last year absolutely horrible and to go from worst to first.. well to be honest I feel we've already won. Sox are respectable again .... Couple of great games these past two. The layoff coupled with great pitching is responsible for the Sox bat being silent but I suspect as the series plays on the bats will come alive. Verlander is yet to come and he might not be human at all so... its a great series.
