Modern Hemi, which OD auto?

I would prefer not cutting the tunnel on my 69 Sat, so I assume a modern OD is out of the running. What options are there that can handle the power, have engine/trans adapters available, etc? I know Gear Vendors can handle the backend side if starting with a 3 speed, but I still need to mate to front. With their 0.78 OD, I would like to consider other options with “more” OD. The 4L60E Chevy option may be the easiest route beyond Gear Venders to fit in the tunnel, but I still need to adapt to the engine. I’ve found adapters for going 4L60E to old big block mopar. Surely there are adapters for this.

Also, my car is a convertible, so I know there is likely more bracing somewhere. Am I going to run in more clearance issues than normal, or am I ok there?

Side note, my car is column shift, if I went 4L60E, how much work is it to make “PRND” work? I really don’t care about lower gear selection.
 
IMO, with the least amount of work, the GV is the best way to go. My GV took me from 3200 at 70, to 2400 at 70. My 65 coronet has a new school Hemi and a ram automatic and yes the tunnel needed work. With my set up now it's 1600 at 70. The 4L60E Chevy built is nice, but once you buy the GV ( around 2800 bucks ) it's the last overdrive you'll buy, I don't care how hard you drive it or how much HP you put in front of it, it's not going to break. You can get a 727 built cheaper and if you do break it the cost is earier to handle than a built 4L60E. To keep things original on your car, no points are deducted for having a GV overdrive.
 
Or the 518, which would handle more power.
