De Anza College.

Wish I was out there, especially with the recent cold weather here.

The Cupertino site is a cleaner and neater venue than Ohlone College was but I'll never enter my car in another "participant judging" event again. It is a lazy way out for the club that hosts the show and turns out to be more of a popularity contest for the host club members cars. When a club hosts a show, allows the club members to enter their own cars THEN judge themselves....It is like politicians voting raises for themselves. This of course is important to people that appreciate winning a trophy occasionally. For everone else, carry on...

image.jpgGreg, this car was an award winner last year. And, no filibustering.

Agreed, I remember a few years back entering my car in the project class myself a car on a rotisserie and one of the member's of the host group entered his car but when he got there it was done all nice and shinny painted, he claimed it had just gotten done the day before. what a crock of **** that was and of course he one the class with that BS. never again for me either just a participant maybe not showing my car for any one to judge they can kiss it lmao :headbang:

I will be at this show. I really don't CARE about an award, I get a big thrill out of talking to folks about my build so that is why I go, aside from checking out all the other cool cars. Since I am there I will wait to see the outcome of judging, however, I cannot see getting butt hurt over a $20 trophy. Besides, all they do is collect dust somewhere.

I have one think to say about this club. Phffffffffffffffft!

We went a couple of years ago and had a great time, well organized and a great venue...just to long of a drive from So Cal

Missed it last year, plan on bringing the Coronet this year.

I may go this year at-least spectate anyway,
no sick ol'Pops &/or sick ol'Dog to worry about this year...

fingers crossed, knock on wood...LOL

have to play it by ear...

I'm planning on going for the first time - agree with this post. I'd prefer NOT to get a trophy as it will just go in the trash bin. :)

All about the cars and connections for me...

Ill be there. May miss spring fling tho cuz Im getting the shop up.

Less than 24 hours out. Weather looks perfect as usual. Fueled and wiped off the Coronet. Forgot to register, $30 day of show. No cost to spectators. Remember, newer location at
De Anza, Cupertino.

Look for both the Blue and Yellow cars there.

I'll be there with my pops in a gold 67 gtx with a nice lumpy 440 and my cousin in his 70 superbee Orange on orange see ya!!!
