MOPAR car chase scenes

Those were good. the Mannix vid when they showed the dash I don't think the speedometer was working. The RR/motorcycle chase was good. They smash the fender, jump the car, toast the front grill, and yet when they are in the waterway, the car is back into good shape again. The magic of Hollywood.

the 68 roadrunner handled much better than the 68 satellite conv! I still want more.

Vanishing point--Charger vs Challenger...

takes a MoPar to catch a MoPar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxhtbjYGrI4

How did they manage to take a movie so awesome (with limited a budget) and a movie in time of much higher tech equipment and manage to make it so utterly boring? poor writing and lack of actual car guys (or Mopar car guys?) ?? there was a serious lack of speed perception in the helicopter photographed scenes as well as other (sure they thought no one can tell the actual speed on film anyway so let's be safe) scenes. the original while pretty basic is still awesome for the sound and the footage of the challenger and the Mopar cop chase cars. My favorite car movie of all time. Followed closely for different reasons by american graffiti.
