Can anyone ID the models and model years for this cigarette lighter knob? It is similar to the later generation 2290188 except it does not have knurls and the shape of the neck is slightly different.

It matches my 69 RoadRunner and it is correct.

Thanks. I read 1962-69 but I’m taking a survey because my cars are 1972s. I plan to post it once I have a better idea of its range of application.

I’ve been waiting for that question! It is a horn button for a 1963-64 Chrysler Turbine Ghia. It was among my deceased uncle’s belongings who worked for Chrysler Corporation in Highland Park. Only 50 of those cars were built so is this a service part? It is highly detailed up close.

Very possible if he was in the mix back then. Real nice piece to treasure.

I confirmed it with a car at the Detroit Historical Museum. The curator let me compare my piece up close and personal to the one on the car. I was thrilled to find it and placed it in a glass baseball display case...LoL. It’s on the buffet in my house. Even my wife thinks it’s cool.
