Thank you for the reply. The VIN does correspond to a scheduled production date of 5/13/69 for other RM2X cars at this plant. The engine assembly date is on the right side of the block on the stamp pad behind the alternator. There will be a E383 with some numbers below it. The cast date is on the right side of the block with the part number of the block.

Yes, I’m not worried about the 9A serial. I know what car it fits as I’ve owned it for 50 years. I was just using 9A for reference. I was more concerned on the other 2 serials as they were loose engines and I may be able to find a owner of the car and get them back to there respected cars
