Hello, my name is Kimmie!
I currently own a 71 Coronet Custom as my daily driver. I've had "Cora" for 8 months and just sold my 73 D100 Club Cab that I had for 4 years. Before that I had a 67 D200 (w/4.10 gears) for about 2 months until I realized I loved speed more than looks. Overall, old cars, mopars mostly, have been a part of my life for almost ten years and I would never want to go back to driving anything foreign and/or with smog requirements.
As I mentioned previously, I just sold my 73 and only because I no longer drove it, had nowhere to park it and needed the money for the car... I loved that truck so much that I couldn't bare watching it drive off. If it weren't for the buyer being a Mopar guy I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
And so, this is why I come here today for help, not just with current issues with my car, but for the future of my car. I've learned the very basics from trying to watch my ex(who insisted on doing ALL the work and never allowed me to learn from him) and I'm willing to learn and get my hands dirty. Unfortunately, I'm more of a visual learner, but now that my ex no longer cares to lend a hand I'm on my own and need all the help I can get.
Please, bare with me. I'm honestly only trying to take care of my car. I WILL NOT give up on her because I no longer have someone to do the work for me. So, I appreciate your time and patience. I look forward to talking to fellow Mopar people!
