I have a 413 engine block, I want to install a set of Max Wedge heads on the block. Looking for a machine shop (preferably in the Southeast) that can cut the valve relief clearance in the block. I would appreciate your recommendation.

diy half moons with a grinder will work better than the straight plunge cut oem used
yu are doing clearance but the airflow does not like a sharp ledge like stock
figure out where your top ring will come
and figure out your valve position
oem 413 had a smaller bore opening than today's 440 gaskets
I wonder if an "Isky tool" could be used
you might search for 413 HD truck gaskets or stainless marine ones

I think the Isky cutting tool would be my best method, haven't found anyone who is familiar with the process or have the tool.

Does isky rent them?
ask about cutting cast iron
or make a tool
