I've read a few threads on another site on the M code dart manifolds and they do sell for 1k to 2k for a pair.So its not to far fetched.

They only made like 640 of them originally and it's not like these manifolds were used on any other cars.

I would hate to pay that price but the a-body big-block drivers side manifold is a very rare piece and has been expensive for a long time.

Gotta remember, they didn't make a lot of 440 A bodies, and those probably lost their manifolds for headers within two days of getting home.

I figured big block a body parts were expensive,but that's insane! Its so true that most would have been taken off for headers within days.
