Motorizing the Eastwood Bead Roller

I recently motorized my Eastwood bead roller using mostly off-the-shelf components from Amazon. The only thing I had to fabricate was the brackets to hold the junction box and motor. Out of pocket was just under $200 counting everything. Probably used another $20 worth of steel to make the brackets. It works perfectly and I am very happy with it.
Eastwood normally sells their drive system for $487. It is currently on sale for $330. I would have probably bought one at the sale price.

It's an easy afternoon project. Motor I picked is probably overkill. You could go cheaper.

Very impressive what you did. Is the floor stand part of the eastwood bead roller?? You bought a aluminum coupler would steel have been better??

Floor stand is from Eastwood. Steel might have been better for the coupler, but the only ones I could find were a lot more expensive. The aluminum one seems to work fine.
