Msd ignition

Has anyone used the Msd Ready to Run distributor, Part #8387, instead of the orange ignition box setup. Looks like its a drop in ready to go system that just plugs in to the existing harness

No, I use the Rev-n-nator unit. A true plug and play unit, slots directly into the factory wiring for electronic ignition and has a built-in tachometer and rev limiter. Awesome unit - check them out;

Yes i have one from MSD. It works.

Was it pretty straight forward with the wiring. Do i need any additional parts to make it work. Thanks

Do you need to use your ballest resister? If you delete what do you do with the wires. 62 Plymouth max wedge..

No resistor with the MSD.

Love MSD billet dizzy and the 6AL box. Eazy Peazy and no ballast resistor
