I'm looking for some help with a base line jet / rod set up for my max wedge carbs. The engine is a 440, 11:1 with a solid lifter cam similar to the original max wedge grind, 62 mw heads, 63 intake with 3705 carbs. I purchased the intake / carbs at a swap meet, I believe they were run on a big stroker and have the biggest jets I have ever seen in them. I know this set up is going to put a lot of gas through it but I would prefer it not running out the tail pipes. If anyone that can share some suggestions for a starting point I would appreciate it.

I found this on "Chrysler Power" doing an internet search. Carter OE 750 cfm (3705 carb) Pri jets .101"/.101" (.071"/.047" Rod) Sec jets Throttle - .089" Choke - .077"

Good luck!

factory specs: primary- .104" jets, .066" x .053" metering rods

secondaries- choke linkage side .063" jet
throttle side .089" jet

You will have to probably solder up a larger jet and redrill to .063"

they made them back in the day, have one. truth is i'd just stick a pair of .086's or .089's in the back and call it a day. those specs i gave were from a 1971 factory race bulletin. things have changed bunches since then.
