Further work . . .and plans for the mods . . .

Let the fabrication begin . . . not quite sure how this will go . . . or how it will be done . . . but, time to CUT . . .

Trying to remove the bends and re-use as much of this metal as possible . . .

getting it straighter . . . and getting it moved into position . . .

Then there's this . . . odd looking cutout . . .

So . . . the plan is to fill it in with some new metal . . .

So that it'll look like this . . . I think that this will look a lot better . . . I hope . . .

Oh . .. forgot this update . . . although the work needed to be redone to give me more adjustment on the brake . . .

Remember, I've completely modified my E-brake to move it to the center console, so this is all fabricated and it's a LOT of trial and error

( mostly ERROR )

Also, you can probably see on the right of the bolt holes, the grinding where I had to remove the bracket that was originally put up, as it was FAR too close, and I moved it 4-5" to the left ( wish I had done 1" more now ) . . .

I'll have to get that primed and painted . . . I'll get a picture of the new attachments . . .

No more dent in this part of the firewall . . . now to get the rest of the lower part figured out and smooth ! !

Got this just about wrapped up, of course my welding needs a bit of grinding, so I'll be working on that, but it's looking close . . .

To this . . . Quite the improvement I must admit . . . even matched the step on the side . . .

Not too shabby . . .

And the blend into the step turned out alright too . . .

Working on the shop project . . . and had a little "side track" on the way . . .

Had to fulfill a "bucket List" item . . .

As it was originally purchased . . . ( did not like the exo-skeleton . . . )

So . . . it's gone . . . now it still needs a little work . . .

Hard top gone . . . and bigger tires . . . now it's looking better . . .

Next . . . it's going to need a lift kit installed . . .

I NEED to get my shop done so I have a place to work on all these projects ! ! !

not getting much "car" time as the "shop build" is taking precedence . . . so I can have a shop to actually work on the car . . .

Shop building . . . and also shop moving progress . . .

Got the first part of the shop built . . .

All the stuff from the old shop moved into the new shop . . . including the 67 Belvedere . . .

Time to dismantle and get this thing moved out of my way . . .

Built a new foundation . . . moved the walls over to the new foundation . . .

Got the new metal roof on the building and it is now in the dry . . . still needs to get the concrete floor poured . . .

Lots been going on . . . but progress on the shop build . . .

For those of you that have not seen my Shop Build Thread . . .

This is how the walls of the shop were moved to the new location . . .

The thing was . . . the first wall that I could get to, was also the last wall that needed to be installed . . .
So it got stored out of the way - until it was needed . . .

These taller walls had me a bit concerned . . . but figured out how to make it work . . .

The end result . . . it all got moved and I saved the building ( it could be my paint booth in the future if needed )
