My 1969 Roadrunner build.

I would like to add that some of you just have some plain old fashioned horse shoes up your asses when it comes to luck in finding these clean cars.

:D L O L.....No doubt! Most the projects I see around here for sale look like they were salvaged off the ocean floor next to the Titanic...

Good luck moving forward with your project

great start to what I am sure will be a fine resto, your craftmanship shows. RIP to the poor soul who's passion was his demise. looking forward to seeing it completed.

Have done a little more on B5 blue.

Looks good!

Question for you though. What are those wrinkles under the wiper motor studs? I'm not criticizing at all...just curious. I have them too and have no idea how they got there. Mine are on my right hand inner fender. The only thing I can think was the car was in a fender bender at some point and it buckeled the inner fender. Do you just hammer / dolly those out?

Wow...it's amazing what I'm learning on a daily basis. I guess I'll just leave them there then. Thanks!

Sorry to highjack your thread....you have a beautiful ride.

I had never even paid attention to them before. But went out and looked at my other 69 RR and it also has those.

Like Snakeyes said, originally there from the factory fella's....Not any indication of past damage. My '69 has them as well. Bird's looking great!

Got some parts back from the powder coaters today. Also started the tear down on the 383. I don't know what kind of oil was used in this, but look how clean it is. The worst tapper or out of round is .003, so I am going to keep the stock bore and just re ring and put new bearings. The car has 106,000 miles on it, and shows little wear.
