My 1969 Roadrunner build.

Whose trunk pans did you use? The Sherman short pans? It looks like you screwed everything in place and then went back and welded?

They came with the car, so I'm not sure whose they are. They worked fine, but I think AMD has a better part. And yes we screwed them and then as we removed the screws it was welded down.

Thanks Rick, That's a good looking GTX you have there. I bought my race car near you, in Largo Fl.
Hey isn't that Firebird raceway just outside Boise,Id? I used to live in the area and my family still lives and races there .

Yes it is. I run at Firebird as often as I can. 5 or 6 times a year. The rest of the time I run at Lost Creek raceway in Anaconda, Montana.

Its hard to believ how many nice unrestored Moars are still out there. Sad story but nice find.

Car and motor turned out looking great and your wife did a great job on your switch panel.

She helps me when ever she can. I was going to paint the switch panel, but she got out the shoe polish and cleaned it up like New. Made sense cause it was not scratched up, just needed a good cleaning.

Your car is coming along great. One of my favorite colors. I have one that could be your twin - except mine is a 4-speed.

I wish this one was a 4 speed. It has white seats with b7 interior. It is going back together as close to how it was born born, and with as many original parts as possible. Probably some different wheels. You can always switch them around.

Looks very nice. You will have to freshen up your coil to match the shiny paint everywhere else in the engine bay.

Looks awesome .. thanks for the update but don't wait so long for the next one!
