my 63 2 door conversion alterd

picked up a hole saw for the rear shackles and a center bolt for the springs hopefully tonite i will have some time to get to it

got the rear shackles welded in ,removed the mounting for fuel tank i think it was over kill its getting a re think ,now got to finish the clean up and paint the under side before the rear goes in .then i can figure out back spacing and wheels IMG_1572.jpgIMG_1570.jpgIMG_1573.jpgIMG_1570.jpg

thanks its getting there. anyone have any pictures of bill (maverick ) goldens reverse traction set up he used on his 63 ?
 
like some other members this is my favorite thread. Ive been logging on to check out your progress every couple of days since september, when I first found it. I have to say that what you are doing is absolutely amazing. Its too bad you dont have videos of your work because this is something I would pay money to see in a theatre, great job!!!!!
 
You have come so far with this, following along, im always amazed at your fab skills and ability! I know ive said it before but its been awhile.
 
a second glance of your last photo do I see a chain or strap around his foot are you keeping him hostage :rolling:

I like what you have done. Did you have to reposition the angle of the braces for your wider wheel wells?
