Finally got to see the car in the sun with the hood, trunk, and dash on it. I anguished for so long with the color of the car, changed my mind many times, but I'm pleased with my Fury Outside 2.jpg final decision. Also happy with the scoop I ended up with (AAR), this was the second scoop we tried on the car. I had to use a scoop to close the hood due to my carb set up.

Very nicely done . . . now you got me chomping at the bit to get paint on my 67 convertible ! ! !

I will repeat what everyone else are saying, Great color and good looking car. Keep up the good work.:headbang:

Trying to make up my mind about the outside mirror or mirrors, kind of leaning to something like this 1973-74

then again I may not even use outside mirrors, I also debated using the same style but painted instead of chrome but worry about how well the paint will hold up with things hitting the mirror while driving.

I like those mirrors.

What look are you going with on the total build? Looks to me like a "custom" look, maybe like a "Foose". Do you have an artist rendition of the final build or is it all in your head?

Right now it's all in my head, I've used different cars as inspiration and ideas, they say imitation is the purest sense of flattery...

My interior will be full custom by Ricky Cheek -Pro Fit Auto Interiors in Alabama- He and I seem to be on the same page concept wise with what I want, we have been discussing the car for six years and I want something that looks more at home on the pages of Street Rodder magazine than Mopar Muscle.

This is a picture of my door handle mocked up in the door from Kindig It Designs http://www.kindigit.com/store.php

I spoke to the builder of this car the first time it showed up on Ebay for sale and he told me some things he did which I have copied a bit including the 2" dropped spindles and taking my speaker hole out of the dash and taking a large portion of the emblems and bling off the car to clean things up, I am leaving the Pentastar, of course, on the right fender.

Be still my heart!

I'm really loving that color combo. You're going to get so much attention when you get her done. Magazines, calendars ect, ect!

Still TBD, leaning towards Boss 338 maybe paint the spokes the darker color of the car; either 17" fronts and 18" rears or 18" all the way around. Have 2" dropped spindles for it from Magnum Force. Still pondering that move.
