My 69 charger

Well guys things didn't quite work out with the headers so l order a set from Hedman and except for having to drop the idler arm and raising the engine just a little they slid rite in. Next is to get the manifold in and a few other things and l'll be starting her up for the first time after overhauling the engine.

Okay guys l'm having a heck of a time getting the starter and header on. Any tips would help jacked the engine up dropped the kickdown piviot arm and shaft off. Next l will try to drop piviot arm off the drag link. And hopefully that will get me closer. But still think it will be a guber especially doing it by myself.

Success l got them both in had to do them both at the same time talk about heck of a trick. But l won now to get everything together and ready to start here in a few days l'll try to post a few pictures here soon

Well koodos to me l fired up my car today but had a few gremlins pleg me but l fought through them and next start she will stay running till l get the cam broke in. One gremlin was not getting fuel to the fuel pump. Put some air to the tank and got fuel to the fuel pump. Next a couple header bolts leaked coolent. Pulled them and put sealant on bolts. See what happens tomorrow

Okay l got a question for some of you old timers cause this old timer doesn't remember. Did some of the 69 chargers come off the line without self adjusters for the rear brakes. Mine didn't have any but with the last owner l've found quite a few things that weren't quire rite. Just like the brake light switch. Mine also activates or deactivates the cruse control also and can't find a new one for my car and l've tried a few venders with no luck.

Well l got my exhaust on and looking good. l also ordered a set of mags for her also (Dukes of Hazzard style) from summet. They are on back order. After they get here then l will order some skins for them then mount.

Well l found out last week that my new rims won't be here till about the 30 of this month' Real bummer cause l want to get her on the road soon but l guess l'll just have to wait. l order a set of General lee wheels, and with a black vinyl top and a Petty Blue paint job sure would should look nice
