Motor is finally done and back home. Here are a couple pics of the Chevy rear main seal that they retrofit into a Mopar BB. It is quite a bit bigger and a far better sealing surface.

Trick Flow 240 heads also replaced the Stealths I had on the motor. It picked up 29hp. and 10 ft.lbs. of torque with this swap and all other components left the same, except for slightly longer pushrods. The engine went from 9.7:1 comp ratio to 9.85:1 because of the cc difference between the 2 head designs.
That should be a great combo, when HP & tq are the same!

No doubt. I feel pretty good about it at the moment. They guarantee the rear main will not leak and do quite a few of these conversions.
What all is involved with converting it?
They machine the block and retainer for the larger od seal. And then weld up the crank in that area to match to the bigger id.
