My belated Christmas gifts.

In our neighborhood, people give gifts or baked goods to each other at Christmas. All my neighbors know I don't know how to cook anything so I usually burn DVDs from the year's best offerings at Redbox. There weren't any big movies in 2020 so I had to get creative. There aren't many children in our neighborhood so I bought a bunch of Hot Wheels cars (Mopars) and Teddy Bears from the Dollar Store.

Then right before Christmas, I got Covid 19. I've been tested and I'm all good. I handed out gifts today. One house has some new neighbors and I don't formally know them. The 5-year-old boy was in his driveway playing with a rope and I asked for his parents. He didn't quite understand so I showed him where I live and told him one gift was for him and one was for his sister. In all seriousness, he asked if I was Santa and I told him I was a friend of his. Someday I'll get my long white hair cut.

its nice when you know most of your neighbors, I always say hi to the new ones.I feel this way most will watch out for each other.

That is so cool. When I was five and you gave me a Hot Wheels car you would have been my hero!!!
