My car won't start!

I remember changing out that nylon gear on my. 1966 383 in 1978.
I still don't trust plastic gears in an engine.

You need to do a compression check, but first I would take out #1 plug and bring the piston to TDC on the compression stroke . If the engine never jumped timing , everything should be lined up on crank dampner and indicator or very close . Then remove dist cap and see if rotor is pointing at #1 plug wire .
So I just ran the compression test on my car. Cylinder #1 90psi
#2 130psi
#3 150psi
#4 90psi
#5 90psi
#6 150psi
#7 90psi
#8 150psi
So this is looking like it jumped isn't it?

Nope, 1,4,5,7 low compression. You have bigger problems.3 of the low numbers on left side. Warped head? Put some oil in plug hole and see if compression comes up(ring/cyl wall problems). If it doesn't you have valve problems. #4 low also leads me to ring/cyl. problems.
