I'm finally hoping to take a little guesswork out of my favorite hobby.

The first pic....just where exactly are those to
be inserted?

Going AFR gauge & O2 sensors

Bob I'm just curious, If you don't mind me asking
what did it cost ?
who'd you get it thru ?
what brand is that ?
is it open loop ?
or closed loop ?
do you have any way of recording/data logging etc.
what it actually does throughout the rpm ranges ?

(I'm thinking about doing it on my street-beast too
the altitudes/elevation changes up here really play havoc on mine
I plan to go to a custom application FiTec EFI 6bbl probably too
)

for a drag car WOT
or on the chip/converter etc. is the most important
like AFR 12.4 to 12.8 WOT is safe & makes decent power
13.1 is starting to push it (lean side)
staggered jetting helps (or can) some too,
get a good plug reading
usually the rear plugs sometimes 7 or 8 cylinders are rich
some the 1 &/or 2 cylinders are lean/er
(but pulling fuel away from the back will fatten them up sometimes too)

Engine Masters
episode 5/21
Tunnel-ram vs Cross-ram
Ignore the title, or the engine they used (SBC)
they start out with a single 4bbl (dual plan)
it's a good lesson on staggered jetting, cause & effects
great examples of what helps where
anyway

good luck, it should/will help, you'll do well :bananadance:

The unit is an innovate dual wide band.
Got it from summit racing for about 315 bucks.
It can record to a laptop.
Has a real time gauge which I mounted right in my face.
They have a program you can download for free on their website.
Some people have had problems with them on the street.
But I'm just looking for WOT.
The people I heard from with issues were all carbureted cars.

There were better options out there. I'd return it. I had the lm2. Nothing but problems. Connection problems when I needed the information the most.
Return it and get something better if you plan on keeping this crazy hobby.
Spend a little more now or a lot more later.
Just a suggestion.

Are you willing to offer a suggested "better" alternative to go along with this critique?

Oh, look who's back!
Your number 1 Fan is back, Mr Bobtile. I Had to do a lot of soul searching these last few years just to find out. I didn't really have much to look for and that Mr Seaman Needs my support in these very trying times.
