I am starting this thread to chronicle my efforts in returning a former race Charger to street use.
The previous owner had the car for about 10 years and did a lot to bring the car back, including new interior covers and dash restore, new larger torsion bars and stiffer rear springs. There is still lots to do to get this car back to street trim. So here we go.......

looks pretty good so what do you need to work on?

I recently purchased and installed emblems which were not on the car. I also sourced a correct 4 port carbon canister for the ECS system and installed some hood pins. I like the look of the hood pins and they allowed me to safely remove the head knocker safety latch which had already drawn blood........ The 6 Pack stuff is all here and awaiting installation. I am waiting for cooler weather to begin. The only major piece for under the hood is the windshield washer bottle. I ordered one from Laysons with the motor installed but it is back ordered.

I have lots of decals to go on the car along with an original 72 Charger owners manual. I found reproduction delivery floor mats along with various hangers and sleeves for the interior.

Can't wait for car show season to begin here in AZ. Should be lots of fun.

I forgot to mention my mod intent. I want to recreate what a 72 440 6 Pack would have looked like. Yes I know a small number were produced, but I am going for what the car would be like after delivery. I have an 8 track tape player to install once I get the radio working along with a vintage tape case and some usable tapes from the 70s. This fall I will be sourcing some Goodyear Polyglass G60-15 tires. I like the look of these on the car.

Beautiful car. I saw one of the factory ones once.
So you're a bit of a carb guy?

I have never owned a 6 Pack Mopar. I had a 3x2 barrel 427 Corvette back in the seventies and the sound of those carbs at full throttle was just amazing.

Things on the first priority list:
1) fix the rear end. 8 3/4 is quite noisy and I want to replace the 4.11 gears with something more streetable.
2) fix the windshield wipers. have the parts just need to do the labor
3) finish re doing the blackout in the front. I have to remove the bumper and headlight brackets to finish the job.
4) install all of the various decals onto the car. these include under hood, drivers door and trunk.
5) fix the brakes. right now the brake light is on full time and the brakes are not very effective.
6)install the 6 pack parts.
7) fix the radio and install the 8 track.
8)enjoy driving for the fall and winter before diving into painting projects on the exterior.

This list should keep me busy until January. Especially in light of the fact that I have two other non MOPAR projects in work.
