My first car model.

In my early teens, I worked part-time in a small hobby store. I got paid in models, which is what I would have saved the money for anyways. I did a lot of 1:32nd scale WWII aircraft which were on display in the shop. I wish I had pictures of them, they were diorama quality with exhaust streaking and such. No showroom condition planes. Biggest and best was a 1:48th scale B-17. That one was displayed for a couple of months and then I sold it. It was a real beauty ! I did a lot of car models too.

I built this Ramcharger AWB from the snap kit. I moved the wheel wells and altered interior and floor pans. The ramp bed on the truck is a die cast trailer floor.

I found this picture of this one searching for a model or diecast of the Baccaruda (which doesn't exist). This guy did some fantastic work making this model.

They must have made 1,000,000 of those IMC L600/700 kits.
Vintage ones are super easy to find and IIRC they are still cranking them out.
I've had one since about 1978 but it's missing parts.
I bought a basket case one in the 00's but still missing one key part.

When Hawk/Lindberg went tits-up, a wholesaler bought all their remaining stock. I remember going to a wholesale outlet in London, Ontario and buying up as many of their Mopar kits as I could. I paid $5.00 each for Hemi/Max Wedge '64 Dodge kits, $10.00 each for the L700 kits, and assembled engines. For years afterwards, vendors at swap meets were still selling these at near hobby store prices, so they must have scooped them up at same low prices as me. I have assembled all the '64 Dodge's, but still have one L700 to go. What part do you need? I have a couple of parts trucks, and may have your part just laying in a box.

I want to say it's frame cross members and maybe a tire or 2.

I'd have to look.

Let me know. I know I have spare tires and rims and likely some cross members. I can just post them to you.
